The Custom Order Process
From the moment you write to us, your piece begins.
How it works
1. Enquiry
Write to us — through WhatsApp, Instagram, or this site's contact form. Tell us which piece from the Silhouettes Collection has caught your eye, the occasion you are dressing for, and the date you need it by. We respond within four working hours, between nine and nine, Pakistan time.
2. The conversation
A member of our atelier will reach out to understand your vision. Fabric preferences. Colour palette. Embroidery density. Any silhouette adjustments — sleeve length, neckline, fit. We will share fabric swatches and mood references. Take your time. This is the only stage that cannot be rushed.
3. The quote
Within twenty-four hours of our conversation, we will send a detailed quote — base price, fabric and embellishment choices, customisation notes, final figure. Pricing varies with your selections. There are no hidden costs.
4. Confirmation
A fifty-per-cent advance secures your slot in the atelier. Once we receive it, we begin: the sketch is approved, the fabric is cut, the frame is set.
5. The making
Two to four weeks, depending on the complexity of the embroidery. We send progress photographs at three key stages — at cutting, when the embroidery is half-complete, and at final fitting. You are part of the making.
6. Delivery
The balance is due before dispatch. Within Pakistan, delivery is by trusted courier, two to four working days. International delivery, by DHL or Aramex, five to ten working days. Each piece is hand-folded in muslin and packed in a Saanjh box.
What you can customise
- Fabric — pure silk, raw silk, crepe, velvet, organza, or premium imported silk
- Colour — we will dye to match a Pantone or a swatch you send us
- Embroidery density — lighter, signature, heavier, or full coverage
- Silhouette — sleeve length, neckline, hem length, fit
- Additional pieces — matching dupatta, an extra trouser, an accessory
What we will not do
- We will not replicate another designer's piece. Not exactly. Not in homage. Not for any price.
- We will not rush a piece if the timeline compromises the work. We will tell you, honestly, if the date is impossible.
- We will not promise what we cannot deliver.

A Saanjh piece is a relationship — between you, the karigar, and the cloth. We treat all three with care.
