These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of saanjhbyuswa.com and any purchase or commission you make from Saanjh by Uswa ("Saanjh", "we", "our", or "us"). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Saanjh by Uswa is a luxury hand-embroidered, made-to-order fashion atelier based at Lyallpur Galleria, Faisalabad, Pakistan. Our website is www.saanjhbyuswa.com. You can reach us at uswakhalid13@gmail.com or +92 345 020 2070.

2. The pieces we sell

The vast majority of Saanjh pieces are made to order. This means:

Production begins only after you confirm your order and pay the agreed advance
Each piece is fitted to your measurements and customised to your choices of fabric, palette, and embroidery
Lead times of two to ten weeks apply, depending on complexity
Final pricing is shared as a detailed quote after a conversation about your vision

Where a piece is listed as ready-to-wear, the listed price applies and the piece ships from existing inventory.

3. Orders and payments

An order is confirmed only when we receive your fifty-per-cent advance payment
The balance is due before dispatch
All prices are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). International payments are converted at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment
Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, Wise, and selected card payments. Full options are shared at the quote stage
We reserve the right to decline any order, in which case any advance paid will be refunded in full

4. Cancellations, returns, and alterations

Our complete policy on cancellations, returns, alterations, and damage claims is set out on our Exchange & Returns Policy page, and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

In summary:

Cancellations are accepted within forty-eight hours of confirmation, with a full advance refund
After forty-eight hours, made-to-order orders cannot be cancelled, as fabric has been committed
Made-to-order pieces are not eligible for return or exchange, as they cannot be resold
One complimentary alteration is offered within thirty days of delivery
Damage claims must be made within forty-eight hours of delivery with photographs

5. Shipping

6. Intellectual property

All content on saanjhbyuswa.com — including photographs, written content, designs, sketches, motifs, the Saanjh name and logo — is the property of Saanjh by Uswa and is protected by intellectual property law.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this website without written permission from us. Sharing our content on social media with proper attribution and tagging is welcomed.

The designs in the Silhouettes Collection are original works of Saanjh by Uswa. We do not replicate other designers' work, and we do not consent to ours being replicated.

7. Client photographs

If you share photographs of yourself wearing a Saanjh piece, you grant us permission to share these on our website and social media, with credit to you (or anonymously, if you prefer). We will always ask before sharing. You may withdraw this permission at any time by writing to us.

8. Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to:

Use the website for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems
Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
Scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect information from the website by automated means

9. Disclaimers

The website and our pieces are provided as described. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties beyond those expressly stated in these Terms and in our policies. Slight variations in colour, fabric texture, and embroidery placement between the photographs and the final piece are inherent to hand-made work and are not defects.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or a piece purchased from us shall not exceed the amount you paid for the piece in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our pieces shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Faisalabad, Pakistan.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via the website or email. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
