Mehraab — Walima Anarkali
Mehraab — the arch. The shape the bride passes through, into a new life.
A walima anarkali in champagne ivory raw silk, worked in pale gold and antique silver. The bodice carries hand zardozi in a mehraab (archway) motif — paisleys and floral sprays radiating outward from the centre. The flare opens into a circular hem with delicate aari work in resham, scattered like fallen petals. Worn with a matching dupatta in net, edged with hand-finished gold tilla.
This is a piece for the second night — when the heaviness of the wedding lifts and the bride wears something softer, something that catches candlelight rather than chandeliers.
